Designed for the Professional Surveyor, the easy to use Topcon GTS-225 Total Station is ideal for any surveying application. Whether it be a control survey, construction staking or boundary survey, with 5 second angular accuracy and its rugged design the GTS-225 is suitable for use in the toughest environments. Topcon’s new GTS-225 can stand up to any wet weather condition that can occur in the field, giving the benefit of not experiencing down time due to inclement weather. With on-board data collection capability, simple operations can be achieved by selecting the necessary functions, such as data collection, layout and memory manager routines from the main menu. A large easy-to-see LCD displays on each side of the instrument means you can shoot reverse angles easily. For enhanced operation in the field, the internal memory stores up to 8,000 points in the GTS-225 for data recording or 16,000 point for layout. Data transfer to a personal computer is possible with the RS-232C interface cable. The laser plummet creates a clearly visible spot on the ground, you can set up the instrument fast and easy. The GTS-225 provides a liquid type dual axis compensator for vertical and horizontal angle compensation. This provides accurate elevation measurements, even if the instrument is not precisely leveled.
